Decker’s Nursery had the honor of being asked by L. E. A. P. Nursery for Sustainability to share how we address automation and labor costs.
Thank you, to a diverse partnership including The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, in partnership with the University of Florida, N.C. State University, Oregon State University, Texas A&M University, and the USDA, in addition to Advisory Board of industry professionals for conducting research about nursery labor challenges and consideration of and transition to, automation. It was an exciting process, and we hope many can benefit from our research including a little trial and error, in automation.
“Please take a few minutes to check out our videos and how automation is key to our success” – Mike Miller, CEO
“Decker’s customer service is excellent; they know their inventory, their product, and their customer. They always do what they say they’re going to do and in the set time frame.”
– Jennifer Radcliffe, William A. Natorp Company
“They have a great choice of plant material, which you know is going to be an excellent value and of consistent quality. Mike and Keith are not only knowledgeable, but can help you evaluate your products and growing methods and even “tailor” a product that best fits your scenario.”
